Eye of the tornado:
In the winds of change and unpredictability, we look at the one place that is consistently still: the center. The core of the organization that carries us through the good and bad and is ready to harness opportunities in the new landscape.
For me, that core is the spirit of our people.
Amongst other interests, I am a keen student of human potential and relationships. I enjoy spending time with colleagues, clients and partners. These interactions enable me to understand them as individuals. After joining Hakuhodo, I learned that this aligns with the company’s Sei-katsu-sha Insight philosophy.
It is therefore no coincidence that in building and steering our businesses across Asia Pacific, I always stress the value of human potential and relationships.
In conversations over drinks or a game of pool, we share our aspirations, trials and accomplishments. They help strengthen our culture while fortifying resilience—the one critical component of continuity within change.
We cultivate a diverse core with cohesive vision. Watchful of surrounding shifts, and always ready to act. With the core securely fastened, the madness around emerges as a peculiar beauty for open minds. It is then we can realize the potential and fortitude within us, and enjoy the ride towards success.
I’m privileged and excited to build and lead an organization that is sure within uncertainty, resiliently agile, and that tames the turbulence with passion. To bring our colleagues, clients and partners renewed success and progress.
