Violence against women is a serious problem in Indonesia. In this conservative society, eight out of 10 cases go unreported. Victims and their families often turn a blind eye to avoid shame. As a result, violence continues. For some, this leads to death or suicide. The NGO Kapal Perempuan wants to put an end to this.

Introducing Hidden Violence Photo, a collaboration with popular bloggers to create unexpected photos in their Facebook pages for their fans.

How it works:
When more than one photo is displayed, each photo is cropped. When a photo is clicked, the full shocking photo is revealed. The message on the photo reads “The more you hide, the worse it will get. Stop the violence, call 012-7988875.”
