“The Curator” (aka “It’s Worth Everything”) is a gritty, wordless short film based on the true story of an old curator’s dogged struggle to protect the Mona Lisa from various calamities in the aftermath of World War II. In Thailand, a country where inequality is high, advertising luxury homes so that potential buyers will feel proud of, rather than embarrassed by, choosing an expensive home is a tricky challenge. “The Curator” shows that even when others don’t share your values, for the best, everything is worth it.
